SpiderMan 2 feels like deja vu. The action stays in New York City, and Doctor Octopus is too similar to the Green Goblin. It certainly doesn't make it a bad movie, but some people want sequels to shake things up more. Far From Home does a lot to the Spider-Man formula that helps it stand out. Somefans are thinking one of the baddies in Far From Home's trailers is the classic Spidey villain the Sandman, but that could just be a version of the Elemental Magnum. (More on him below.)

2 Spider-Man: Homecoming. Far From Home is a sequel for Homecoming so it only makes sense for you to be watching this flick. Tom Holland's Spider-Man got his first standalone film and it explores some of the merits of this brand new Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. wu5g.
